About Quiet Corner Reads
Quiet Corner Reads is a collaboration of libraries throughout northeastern CT, working together to encourage literacy, library support, and community development.
- One Book / One Region Books: Each year, QCReads encourages residents of northeast Connecticut to read the same book at the same time, bringing people together to discuss ideas and to broaden their appreciation of reading. Book discussions and related programs are held at each library and all libraries participate in a joint closing event.
- Book Reviews: check the Villager papers for a weekly book review, submitted by one of the QCReads participating libraries.
